In class we discussed dynamic characters and static characters. Choose a character in your book and describe whether that character is static or dynamic. Make sure to include examples from the story to support your answer.

You are writing a friendly letter from Despereaux to the King. Despereaux is trying to convince the king that he is a brave mouse and he can save the princess. What would Despereaux say to the king? How would he convince him? Your friendly letter should include: a greeting, a body paragraph, a conclusion paragraph, and a closing.
