Sunny Wyler is a static character. A static character is a character that doesn't change throught the novel. First, I know this because it says that Sunny didn't like Plumsted in the beginning of the story and the end. That is static because there was not a change in her body about Plumsted. Another reason is Sunny did not change her look at all, which by that I mean that every day Sunny wore her "DEATH TO THE MUSHROOMS" tee-shirt. That is static because EVERYDAY she wore that, but if she was dynamic she wouldn't wear that everyday. Third, she is a static character because in the beginning and the end she wanted to go to the same school as her best friend, Hillary. I know that is static because there was no change what so ever. That is my proof that Sunny Wyler is a static character.

I think Sunny is a static character in the book. First, I think she is static because she does not bathe because she has to go to a different school. Second, she wears the same shirt to school everyday. I also think she is static, because her feeling toward her best friend going to another school are the same. In the beginning she is upset and in the end she is upset. These are the reasons why I think Sunny is static.
