In chapter two the clergyman's family and Mrs. Medlock dislike Mary at first sight because of her ugliness and sour disposition. This only makes Mary even more sour and disagreeable. What is Mary's point of view on how other people treat her and why?

This is Mary’s point of view on how other people treat her and why. Mary thinks that other people treat her with no respect. She thinks this because she was never taught another way. She also thinks this because since birth she was put into the care of native servants, so she never met another child her age to see how they act. In conclusion this is Mary’s point of view on how other people treat her.

Mary believes she used to be treated well in India well because she diddnt have to do anything not even dress herself. Now people automatically don't like her because of the way she looks but that's not the only reason as she may think. It's also because she's "sour" in the beginning of the book. So that gives people another reason to dislike her.

Mary thinks people are not paying attention to her because she was so ugly. And this was true. No one paid atention to Mary because she was ugly, not even her mother. When Mary was born, her mother took one look at her and passed it to a ayah to take care of her.Mary's mother was cruel and sellfish, and Mary learened right of of her mother, dissagreeable, sellfish, and cruel.

In chapter 2 the Clergymans family and Mrs.Medlock dislike mary. Mary Lennox does not care at all. She doesnt care because she treats people with disrespect too. Mary treated people the same way so it did not matter.Mary Lennox is a sour, sellfish kid just like her mother.

Mary's point of view of how other people treat her is quite mean and terrible. As a result, she just wants to call them bad names and be more selfish and have attitude with everyone. I think she acts this way because she was never shown any affection or care from her mother. Also, nobody taught her any manners. In conclusion, it's Mary's own fault that people disliked her because she is so bratty, bossy, and sassy.

I think Mary's point of veiw of how other people treat her is very mean and cruel. In my opinion, she just wants to be mean to everyone because they are all mean to her. People also probably don't like her because she does not understand what it feels like to have to do everything by yourself. Finally, Mary is not a very cheerful person and she is also quite selfish. Mary is not exactly someone you would want to be friends with.

Mary believes other people are disagreeable because she does not know that she herself is selfish and disagreeable. Mary appears to be very stubborn and uninterested when others are speaking to her. Mary doesn't have a nice expression on her face. She also does not know how to interact with other people because she's never had anyone truly care for her. This is why Mary's point of view of others is off.

Mary's point of view on how others treat her is that she thinks they are mean. She feels this way because she never gets attention and she doesn't know what it is like to treat someone well. People aren't mean to her, they are reacting to how she treats them and she thinks that they are just being mean. Mary believes that it is other people being mean, not her. In conclusion, Mary doesn't know how she treats others, therefore she isn't nice and thinks people aren't nice to her.

Mary's point of veiw is that people treat her in an unacceptable way. She feels people nevr pay attention to her. The people had even forgotten she had been in the house when the sickness broke out. Mary also thinks that people reject her because of her looks or first actions. Mary never knew the feeling of love so she doesn't know how to act, she feels it is not her fault. In Mary's situation I would feel the same way.

Mary's point of view is that people don't treat her like they treat any other child. They treat her without respect or kindness, even her mom! Nobody looked for little Mary when the sickness broak loose, nobody cared if she had died. Mrs. Medlock had taken her on a train ride to her uncle's house, Mary started to listen. If I where Mary, I'd be disagreeable and sour too, at first that is.

Mary's point of view is that others are disagreeable when, instead, she is the disagreeable one. For example, because Mary had been living in other peoples' houses she felt like she never really belonged to anyone and was not noticed. The children with parents seemed to be noticed, nonstop, but the reason Mary wasn't noticed was because she was she had a plain face and disagreeable manners.
