I agree and disagree with Luke’s father for not letting Luke in the Kitchen. I agree with Luke’s father, because would you rather take the risk of having to get rid of your child or possibly even kill it. (Page 8) I disagree with Luke’s father because can’t you just make Luke hide when he comes close to a window? Could you move where you eat so you could be with him? Or could you take turns sitting with him? My opinion of not letting Luke in the kitchen is agree and disagree

Alison, I like how you had reasons for both agreeing and disagreeing with Lukes father.

I have mixed feelings about Luke's dad's descision about not letting Luke in the kitchen anymore. First, I think Luke's Dad is right because after all he was just trying to protect Luke from getting caught by the population police. Then, I think Luke's Dad is not right because Lukes family doesn't even talk to Luke let alone talk loud enough for Luke to hear their conversation at the bottom of the steps. Either way Luke's Dad should have told Luke the news in a nice voice that sounded sorry, not a yelling voice that was mean. Luke feels excluded by his family, a feeling no child should experience. Luke has taken the news well though because he has lived his whole life in hidding.

I have very different feelings about Luke's father for not letting hi in the kitchen. First, I think it is wrong for him to exclude him from the family dinner, since "the sports family" keeps very heavy blinds so no when can see them. So that may be less suspicious but still the population police still might be suspicious. Next,I think it is wrong since his brothers speak in a very low tone so luke can't even hear them and makes him feel very left out. Also,I think it is right because they are all just trying bring to protect Luke from the population police and all the dangers from the outside world. Plus, the population police could kill him or someone could turn him in for all the money and reward. Lastly,I both think it is right and wrong. Wrong because no kid should feel that way that their parents may not love him. Right because the population police have almost all rights over them and could shoot him and his family if they saw Luke. In conclusion no mater what no child should feel that their parents don't love the them or care about them.

As my opinion, I disagree with Lukes father.First, It is polite to sit at the dinner table with your family.Second, Luke is not that old he should not half to sit on the steps while he watches his entire family laugh and have fun together. Finally, Luke is a wonderful boy he should not have to sit on the steps by himself I mean seriously the sports family closes their windows all the time and they don't look sispicious at all but apparently in Lukes family that is a big no-no.Lukes mom does not agree and if a girl does not agree just give it up.As a good person I disagree with Lukes father and I always will.
