If Ella didn't have the curse, I think Ella would take all Hattie's wigs, some dresses, and give her a bouquet with only bogweed. There might be a couple other things she would do to Hattie, but I don't know what they are.
I agree with you ella. I like the idea of "Give her a bouquet with only bogweed."
I think you can do a little better than that. The question says, "Use facts from the story to support your answer." You told what you think she would do (which is great), but you didn't say why.
There are lots of things I think Ella would do to Hattie if she didn’t have her curse, but what I really think Ella would do is knock the stuffing out of Hattie. First, I think Ella would knock the stuffing out of Hattie because Hattie took her necklace which was her only token from her mother that she could take anywhere. Second, she ordered Ella around like Ella was her slave when they were riding to their school. Finally, Hattie ordered Ella to stop being friends with the friend that was the only thing that brought joy to the finishing school. For these reasons I think Ella would knock the stuffing out of Hattie if she didn’t have her curse.
If Ella didn't have the curse she would do some preety bad stuff to Hattie. First, she would take all her wigs and maybe even some of Hattie's dresses. (page 86)"Neat-fingered as I had become, I was able to lift off it off with out waking her". Next, while Hattie was sleeping, Ella could punch her in the stomach and run away very quickly so Hattie would not know who did it. Last, Ella could bury Hattie so she could not give her any more orders. Ella could do many more bad things to Hattie if she didn't have the curse.
I agree with you, Halle. She WOULD do many more (and worse!!) things to Hattie.I like how you pulled out a fact from the story to support your details.
